Our Renovation Process: From Blueprint to Reality
I believe in a transparent and collaborative journey. From our first site visit and 3D walkthrough to the final hand-over, here is how my team and I turn your vision into a beautiful, breathable home.
Every project begins with a site visit to understand the space and its potential. Here, I am at a new 4BHK apartment project in Noida, moving from the architectural model to the actual bare-shell flat to begin the design and planning phase.
Detailed floor plans are the foundation of a successful renovation. This blueprint shows the layout for a new residential project, carefully mapping out every room, from the living area and kitchen to the bedroom and parking, ensuring optimal space utilization.
A 3D walkthrough is a powerful tool that helps you visualize your future home before construction even begins. This virtual tour showcases the proposed exterior facade and interior living spaces, allowing for clear communication and confident decision making.
This is a 3D rendering of a kitchen and living area currently in progress. These visualizations help in finalizing material choices, color palettes, and furniture placement, ensuring the final result perfectly matches the client's vision.
This is a look at a new, bare apartment site before my team and I begin our work. Seeing the space in its raw form is the first step in envisioning the transformation that will turn this empty shell into a beautiful and functional home.
Here is another new project site at the very beginning of the renovation process. The space is a blank canvas, ready for us to start demolition and construction work to bring the new interior design to life.
Work is underway at our project site at Plumeria Garden Estate. This video shows the progress on custom woodwork for doors and wardrobes, as well as the initial structure for the kitchen and a cozy window seat.
About this collection
A successful renovation starts long before the first wall is demolished. I personally conduct the initial site visit to understand how you live, followed by 3D walkthroughs that let you "walk" through your future home before we even pick up a tool. During the build, I am on-site daily to manage everything, using modern machinery to keep our traditional craftsmanship fast, clean, and cost-effective.
Your Home, Our Story
When we take on a project, we aren't just renovating walls; we are shaping how you experience your daily life. We believe in total transparency so you never have to guess what's happening behind the scenes.
The Process
-
Understanding Your Vision: Everything begins with a site visit. We look at the existing light, airflow, and structural possibilities. This is where we identify potential and plan how to make the space 'breathe' better.
-
Visualizing the Future: Before a single brick is moved, we provide detailed plans and 3D walkthroughs. This allows you to see the material choices—like lime plaster textures or terracotta cladding—and confirm the layout fits your lifestyle.
-
Precision Execution: We blend old-school craftsmanship with modern efficiency. Yes, traditional techniques like hand-troweled lime plaster require patience, but we use modern machines for precision woodwork and tiling to ensure the project stays on schedule without sacrificing quality.
-
Hands-on Monitoring: I am personally on-site to inspect the quality of work. Whether it's the modular kitchen assembly, the electrical wiring, or the final paint finish, we keep the process clean and organized.
Why Sustainable Matters
In our Delhi NCR projects, we focus on natural materials—renewable rubberwood, stone, and lime plaster. These aren't just aesthetic choices; they improve indoor air quality and reduce the need for constant AC usage. Our goal is to hand you a home that is as healthy to live in as it is beautiful to look at.
Story of Walls
I’m Sonia Rana. I started Story of Walls because I believe homes should be breathable and honest. Whether you are redoing a kitchen or a full villa, my team and I focus on mixing traditional materials with modern efficiency to build spaces that actually feel good to live in.
