If you give me just 15 minutes of your time, we can get shots that actually feel like you. I prefer finding quiet corners at venues like the Turf Club or hotel suites over forcing you to stand still for hours. If you are comfortable and happy, the photos will be good. It is really that simple.
I know the wedding day is a rush. From the last-minute makeup touch-ups to the baraat lining up outside, time is the one thing we never have enough of. That is why I do not believe in hours of staged portraits.
My approach to bridal and groom portraits is about finding the gap in the schedule. Maybe it is the quiet moment in your room before the crowd arrives, or that 10-minute window when the sun hits the hotel hallway just right. I use my Nikon gear to capture your natural expressions, not a version of you trying to hold a difficult pose for five minutes straight.
For brides, whether you are wearing a traditional Nauvari saree or a lehenga, my focus is on your grace and the anticipation you feel. I love framing these shots using natural elements or the architecture of the venue to make the photos look cinematic, not just like a snapshot.
For grooms, I aim for that dapper, relaxed look. I have found that when I get a groom to step away from the phone and the guest list for a few minutes, the tension drops and the real personality comes through. Whether we are at a grand property in Pune or a home wedding in Mumbai, I look for the light and the honesty of the moment. If you can trust me to handle the direction, you can just focus on enjoying your day. That is when the best pictures happen.
