My Most Impactful Wedding Moments
I don't look for perfect smiles or standard poses. I look for the moments that make you go, 'Wait, did he actually catch that?' These are the raw, unscripted bits of magic I have collected along the way.
This is it. This is the kind of joy I live to capture. Shamika and Sumedh's laughter here is so real and infectious. My goal is to make you feel comfortable enough to forget the camera is even there, so we can get these purely happy, unposed couple photos.
I believe a wedding film should be more than just a recording; it should be your story. This film from Smriti and Abishek's beautiful Tambram wedding shows how I blend cinematic shots with raw emotions, from the sacred rituals to the wild dancing, to create a movie you will want to watch again and again.
When a bride is ready ahead of schedule, it gives us time to play with light and shadow. This portrait of Srushti at the Turf Club is one of my favorites. I used the natural shadows from the leaves to create this dramatic, artistic black and white bridal shot that feels both timeless and modern.
Haldi ceremonies are all about joyful chaos, and I am here for it. This moment, with everyone piling on the love (and haldi) for Neha, is pure, unfiltered happiness. I love capturing the energy when family and friends just let go and have fun.
Who says the baraat is just for the groom's side? I love it when the bride joins the party. Here's Shruti owning the dance floor during the baraat. It’s these high energy, spontaneous moments of celebration that truly make a wedding memorable.
Weddings are an emotional whirlwind. In between the laughter and celebration, there are these quiet, powerful moments of connection. This black and white photo of Poorva during the ceremony captures the profound emotion of the day. These are the honest, heartfelt moments I look for.
I love it when couples bring their own brand of humor to the wedding day. Sanika was all ready for her portraits, but Shubhankar showed up in a hoodie. The "Surakshit Antar Theva" sign was just too perfect. It’s these funny, real life moments that tell your unique love story.
After a long day of ceremonies, it's great to steal a few minutes for some creative portraits. For Jessie and Purujit's reception, we used dramatic lighting to create this intimate, classic portrait. It shows that even at the end of the night, we can make something truly beautiful.
About Featured
I don't pick these images because they look like everyone else's. I pick them because they happened in real life. Whether it is a bride laughing in a hoodie or a baraat squeezing through a narrow lane, these are the truths of the day. If you want a photographer who hides in the background to capture the chaos rather than directing it, that is where I fit in.
Photography to me is not about the setup. It is about the stuff you actually feel. When I started, I was just shooting stills, but now I live for the mix of cinematic films and photos that show the whole story. I prefer the messy haldi ceremonies, the tearful moments during rituals, and the baraat madness over any studio lighting setup.
My gear—usually my trusty Nikon setup—stays in the background. I want you, your family, and your friends to forget I am even there. That is when the real magic happens.
I shoot in Pune, Mumbai, and across India, covering everything from intimate wada weddings to big cross-cultural events. If you are looking for someone who will eat the food, laugh at the jokes, and capture the real emotion without forcing you into uncomfortable poses, let’s talk. I edit every photo myself, so you get the look and feel of the day exactly as I saw it.
