About Meet Our Team & Philosophy
We do not just design offices and homes, we treat every project like a shared diary entry. Whether it is a messy sketch session or a debate over material textures, we include our clients in the process because the best ideas usually happen in the in-between moments of our work.
We started STaND eight years ago, back in college, just two friends with a shared drive to find identity through design. Today, our studio is a mix of Mumbai energy and international exposure from our projects in Dubai. We believe that your space should reflect your personality, which is why we dig deep into your story before we even touch a floor plan.
Our philosophy is simple: warm minimalism and honesty. We are obsessed with textures and materials, from raw marble and wood to the play of light in a room. But what truly defines us is our open-book process. We share the sketches, the mock-ups, the debates, and the technical drawings because we want you to see the real work that goes into a project.
We also believe in structure. Over the years, we have built a playbook for running our studio that ensures transparency at every step. This includes maintaining clear task sheets, hosting regular site visits at critical milestones, and using shared platforms for real-time updates. When you work with us, you are not just getting a design, you are getting a partner who values clarity, communication, and craft as much as the final look of your space.
