How We Approach Home Design
At STaND, we’re Sid and Nik, and we believe your home should feel like you. We don’t just show up with a mood board and call it a day – we actually listen to your story before we even think of sketching a wall. If you’ve got kids, pets, or a shelf full of wild art, we want to know about it. Our goal is to make a space that’s both practical and says something about who you are.
Who We Design For
- Families: Safe corners, Montessori-style nooks, and spaces that grow with your little ones.
- Pet Parents: Built-in cat ramps and cozy dog spots, because animals deserve good design too.
- Collectors & Creatives: You’ve got a wall full of art or stacks of books? We create spots to show off your collection.

Our Style: Warm Minimalism
We call our vibe ‘warm minimalist home design’. That means natural wood and stone finishes, earthy textures, and nothing too precious – you’ll see lots of teak, Kota stone, or even a bit of exposed concrete. We’re into Wabi-Sabi too, so a little imperfection is totally fine.

My Story
Hey, Sid and Nik here. We kicked off STaND back in college, just two friends chasing a dream. For us, design is all about finding ourselves—sometimes through Ladakh’s raw vibes, sometimes through our clients’ roots, whether Indian, African, or Emirati. Each project’s a diary entry, some wins, some chaos, always honest. We’re still figuring it out, and glad you’re reading along.
