My Musical Lineage: A Journey of Gratitude

This isn't just about my voice. It is about the years of taalim (training) that shaped my approach to every raag and composition. When you hire me for a classical or devotional set, you are not just getting a performer, you are getting music built on the foundational discipline passed down through my Guruji.

The photos here capture moments with my Guruji, but they are really just snapshots of a much larger journey. In Indian classical music, the relationship with your guru is everything. It is where you learn not just the technicalities of a raag, but how to listen, how to respect the silence between notes, and how to pour emotion into a performance.

My training in Hindustani classical music provides the bedrock for everything I do, whether I am recording a playback track for a film or performing at a private baithak. This classical rigour means that when I perform devotional Marathi Abhangs or soulful Kannada Bhavageethe, I bring a level of control and authenticity that comes from years of sitting at the feet of a master. It is this depth that I strive to bring to every live performance in Bengaluru and beyond.
