I bring the depth and tradition of Hindustani classical music to your events. Whether it is an intimate baithak or a concert, I perform with my team of musicians to create a meaningful, soulful experience.

Performing Raag Kamod in a traditional concert setting. The interplay between the vocals, tabla, and harmonium is what makes Hindustani khayal singing such a profound experience.

A clip from a Guru Poornima baithak, where I had the honour of presenting Raag Malkauns. Singing in such an intimate setting for my guru and fellow music lovers is a truly blessed experience.

Another moment from my Raag Bilaskhani Todi performance at Sapthak, Bangalore. You can see the joy and concentration of my accompanying artists on tabla and harmonium.

A short clip from an intimate house concert, a setting that allows for a deep connection with the audience. These small gatherings have a unique charm and warmth.

About Hindustani Classical Performances

For these performances, I do not perform solo. I bring a team of professional instrumentalists covering tabla, harmonium, and tanpura support. We follow a traditional structure starting with a slow Bada Khayal, moving into a faster tempo, and finishing with a lighter piece. This setup requires a seated stage area and audio gear like three microphones and two monitors to get that authentic acoustic balance.

When you book me for a Hindustani classical recital, you are booking a full ensemble experience. I believe that classical music requires the right setting to breathe, whether that is an intimate house baithak or a larger temple hall.

My standard performance follows a journey of 90 to 120 minutes. We start with the Bada Khayal to set the mood, transition into the faster Chhota Khayal, and usually conclude with a Tarana or a devotional piece. This is a seated performance, and the audience is usually expected to listen in a quiet, attentive environment to fully appreciate the intricacies of the raag.

Regarding production, I keep it simple but precise. I require a standard stage setup with three microphones on stands and two monitor wedges. We will need about 45 minutes before the event to complete a sound check to ensure the balance between my vocals and the instruments is perfect.

If you are planning a smaller gathering or a specific cultural evening, let me know. I am based in Bengaluru but happy to travel across Karnataka for concerts and private recitals.

Classical music is where I ground myself, and I feel truly blessed to share these traditional raags with you. It is more than just singing for me; it is a way to connect deeply with an audience through the purity of sound and the guidance of my Guruji.
