My Story
Hi, I'm Srilakshmi. Music's pretty much my life - can't separate the two. Amma's always catching my goofy smiles on camera, and Dodda (grandma) is my anchor. Recently became a Maami (aunt) - big deal for me! When I'm not singing, you’ll find me with cousins, sipping coffee, or jumping out of planes (yup, skydiving!). I just want to share some joy, whether through a soulful song or a silly laugh. So grateful for all the love.
My Work
What I Do - I sing playback for Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam films and albums. Also do Hindustani classical, Ghazals, Abhangs, Bhavageethe live.
My Singing Style - I get lost in the music - be it a soulful Kannada film song or a Hindustani classical raag. It's all about the emotion.
Awards & Recognition - Got lucky with Filmfare, IIFA Utsavam, Prajavani Cine Samman for songs like 'Kadalanu' and 'Olave Olave'. Still feels unreal.
How I Work - I love collaborating - studio vibes, jamming with friends, every project feels fresh and exciting.
