Sophisticated Recreation & Bathroom Designs

I design bathrooms and recreation spaces that feel less like functional rooms and more like a private sanctuary. It is about quiet luxury, high-end materials, and the kind of detailing that makes you want to stay a little longer.

This billiard room was designed to be a sophisticated entertainment hub. The professional-grade pool table is the centerpiece, complemented by a herringbone wood floor and custom cabinetry for a modern, regal feel.

The seating area within the billiard room is designed for comfort and style. I used a mix of leather and fabric upholstery, along with a modern chandelier, to create a space that feels like a private, old-school club.

Custom storage is key in a recreation room. This dark wood cabinetry was designed to hold bar essentials and billiard accessories, with integrated lighting to highlight the display.

This master bathroom is all about opulence. I used a chevron-patterned tile with metallic accents as a feature wall behind the twin vanities, creating a space that feels both luxurious and dynamic.

The walk-in shower features a built-in marble bench for a spa-like experience. The seamless glass partition keeps the space feeling open and modern, while the niche provides practical storage.

Even a small powder room can make a big statement. In this design, I contrasted black marble with a lighter-toned marble and added brushed gold fixtures for a touch of compact luxury.

Another view of the billiard room's lounge area, showing the custom shelving and warm, layered lighting. It's a perfect space for guests to relax and watch the game.

About this collection

When we build a bathroom or an entertainment room, the lighting plan is usually what separates a 'good' space from one that feels like a five-star hotel. I rarely rely on just one overhead source; we use profile LEDs and ambient spots that you can dim, because a bathroom should be a retreat, not a fluorescent-lit utility box.

For the bathrooms, the goal is always durability without compromising on the aesthetic. We aren’t just picking pretty tiles; we’re obsessing over the waterproofing, the floor slope for proper drainage, and the seamless transition between wet and dry zones. I often recommend large-format marble for that monolithic, clean look, paired with high-end sanitary fittings that are built to last.

On the recreation side, like the billiard room shown here, it is about creating that 'club' atmosphere right at home. This requires a different approach—focusing on acoustics, warmer wood tones, and lighting that isn't too harsh on the eyes during a game. We use custom cabinetry to hide the inevitable clutter that comes with entertainment gear, ensuring the space remains sleek and uncluttered.

Design is never just about what you see in the finished photos. It is the hours of planning electrical loops, ceiling heights, and material sampling to make sure the room functions as well as it looks. If you are looking to turn an underutilized room into a personal retreat, let’s talk about what is possible for your specific floor plan.

I’m Swasti, and I don't believe in 'filler' rooms. Whether it’s a billiard room for your downtime or a master bath that feels like a spa, I focus on the textures you’ll actually touch and the lighting that sets your mood for the day.
