Minimalist Apartment Designs for Calm Living
I design apartment spaces that feel airy, calm, and uncluttered. By balancing warm woods with natural light, I create a private sanctuary that feels less like a project and more like home.
A classic feature in many homes I design is a traditional Indian swing, or 'jhoola'. Here, it’s integrated into a modern living space, offering a playful and relaxing spot with a view of the dining area.
This view shows the clean lines and uncluttered feel of the apartment. I used white wall paneling and a custom bookshelf with pops of wood to add character without overwhelming the space.

Even our furry friends approve of the cozy atmosphere. This living room combines a comfortable sofa, soft textures, and classic decor elements like the wall sconces and globe for a timeless, inviting feel.
Another view of the indoor swing, this time showing its connection to the balcony. The design brings natural elements like wood and rattan indoors, blurring the line between inside and out.
This video showcases the cozy and warm details of the residence. From the soft bedding to the natural wood tones and greenery, every element is chosen to create a space that feels like a dream.

About this collection
In my apartment projects, I lean on concealed LED strips and magnetic track lighting to wash walls in a soft, warm glow. That precise layer of indirect light is what transforms a busy living room into a quiet, evening sanctuary for you to wind down.
Minimalism often gets misunderstood as 'empty,' but for me, it’s about choosing exactly what adds value to your day. In these apartments, I focus on the interplay between natural light during the day and warm, indirect illumination at night. I typically use textures like cane, natural wood, and neutral wall panels to keep the space grounded and warm, rather than cold or sterile.
When we plan your space, we start with the flow. We look at where you sit, where you need storage, and how we can tuck away the clutter that builds up in daily life. My team and I handle the end-to-end process, from that first 3D render to the chaotic site visits where we resolve those inevitable little shifts. Whether it’s integrating a traditional jhoola (swing) into a modern living area or finding the perfect magnetic light tracks that don't cast harsh shadows, we work until the details feel right. If you want a home that feels like a relief to walk into, let’s talk about your floor plan.

I’m Swasti. I believe a home should feel like a deep breath after a long day, not a showpiece. We strip back the noise, focusing on warm woods, soft light, and the exact textures that make a space feel like yours.
