Modern Living & Dining Spaces Design
I create open, inviting living and dining areas that balance modern aesthetics with everyday comfort. My designs focus on natural light, flow, and the practical details that make a house feel like home.
This open-plan living and dining area is designed for modern family life. A curved sofa defines the lounge space, while large windows and sheer curtains keep the entire area feeling bright, airy, and connected.
Another view of the open-plan space, showing the relationship between the living and dining areas. The consistent color palette and flooring create a cohesive flow, while distinct furniture pieces define each zone.
A 3D walkthrough of a modern living space. This shows how I plan the flow of a room, from the entryway with its elegant mandir design to the comfortable, curved sofa in the main lounge.
This drawing room is defined by neutral tones and minimalist patterns. The armchair and console table create a welcoming entryway, leading into the main seating area.
A lounge area where texture plays a key role. The 3D wall panels, marble-patterned accents, and soft fabrics on the sofa come together to create a space that is visually interesting yet soothing.
This living room blends contemporary comfort with touches of glamour. The olive green sofa adds a pop of color, while the gold-framed mirror and console table bring a sense of modern elegance.

About this collection
An open-concept living and dining area is more than just knocking down walls, it is about balancing spatial flow with defined zones. In my projects, I use strategic lighting and furniture placement to separate the dining area from the lounge without losing that airy, unified feel. You will see this in my 3D renders, where we test the sightlines long before the first brick is laid to ensure the layout actually works for your lifestyle.
Designing a living and dining space is where I spend most of my time during the planning phase. It is the hub of your home, and it needs to serve multiple masters: hosting guests, family relaxation, and daily practicality.
I do not just draw pretty pictures. My turnkey execution involves detailed GFC (Good For Construction) drawings for everything from electrical looping to ceiling coves. When we talk about finishes, I prefer Italian marble or high-grade vitrified tiles for these areas to ensure a seamless look, paired with PU-finished woodwork that holds up over time.
I know the site drama that happens during renovation. You might be worried about plumbing shifting or false ceiling heights. Because I handle the entire turnkey process, from 3D conceptualization to site supervision, I catch those errors before they become permanent headaches. Whether it is integrating magnetic track lights to highlight your art or ensuring the dining table placement flows naturally into the lounge, I aim for a balance of form and function. If you want a space that feels like a sanctuary rather than a showroom, let us discuss how to tailor these elements to your specific floor plan.
