About Unique Painting Techniques
Whether you are curious about how that rich texture in knife painting works or want to add a shimmer to your canvas with gold foil, these sessions are all about exploring the 'how-to'. You do not need to be a pro to handle a palette knife or apply delicate gold leaves; I will show you exactly how to layer the paint and control the pressure to get those professional-looking results without the stress.
At Soaked in Canvas, we believe art should not be confined to just a standard brush and canvas. These unique techniques are designed for anyone who wants to try something new, even if you have never held a palette knife or worked with gold leaf before.
Our knife painting sessions are popular for the 3D, tactile effect they create. You will learn how to layer heavy-bodied acrylics to build up florals or abstract landscapes that literally pop off the canvas. If you prefer something subtle, our gold foil workshops teach you how to apply adhesive and delicate metal leaf to create elegant, shimmering accents on your artwork.
We also run bite-sized workshops like hand-painting bookmarks and fridge magnets. These are perfect for quick creative breaks, whether you are visiting our studio at M3M Urbana in Sector 67, Gurgaon, or having us set up a private event at your home, office, or local cafe across Delhi NCR.
All workshops are all-inclusive. We provide the canvases, specialized palette knives, gold foil, non-toxic paints, and aprons. You do not need to bring a thing except your enthusiasm. These sessions are beginner-friendly and follow a step-by-step approach, so you can relax, chat, and actually enjoy the process of making something distinct.
Soaked in Canvas
I'm Ciya, and I started Soaked in Canvas to share the joy of getting a little messy with paint. My studio in M3M Urbana is designed to be your happy, low-pressure escape where we can laugh, sip tea, and experiment with fun textures together.
