Meet Our Tennis Coaches: Former National Pros
We don't just stand by the court and feed balls. Meet the team who has lived the grind, walked the AITA circuit, and is here to help you level up your game.
If you want to go far, go together. As head coach and founder of SlamQuest, I started this academy to provide systematic, professional training to help athletes achieve their dreams. I am a former AITA Men's Top 50 player and AITA Level 3 certified coach.
Meet coach Raquib Manazir, a key member of our team. With 9 years of coaching experience, multiple certifications, and a background as an AITA Men's Top 100 player, he specializes in technical analysis and the mental game.
About Meet the Coaches
The reality of tennis isn't just hitting winners, it is the 90% of the game that happens in your head and through your footwork. Our team of coaches, including those with AITA Level 3 certification, focus on that deep work because we have been through the AITA Men's Top 50 and Top 100 circuit grind, and we know that technique without mental toughness won't get you to the finals.
At SlamQuest, we believe the best teacher is someone who has been exactly where you are today. We avoid generic, one-size-fits-all training sessions because we know that progress in tennis requires specific, tailored feedback.
Our coaching philosophy centers on three pillars:
- Technical Precision: We don't just watch you play; we break down your swing, footwork, and biomechanics. Coach Raquib Manazir, for instance, specializes in deep technical analysis to ensure every movement is efficient.
- Mental Toughness: Tennis is a solitary sport. We teach you how to stay calm under pressure, how to reset after a bad point, and how to maintain focus when you are tired. This is the difference between a casual player and a competitor.
- Systematic Development: Whether you are a 5-year-old starting with mini tennis or a junior chasing national titles, we use a structured curriculum. Being AITA Level 3 certified means we bring professional, planned training methods to every session.
We keep our batches small, with a maximum of 4 to 5 players per court. This is a deliberate choice. It ensures that you aren't just another body on the court, but an athlete receiving the individual attention needed to actually improve.
SlamQuest
We are a team of tennis 'paglus' who have turned our passion into our profession. Having competed at the AITA national level ourselves, we bring real-world experience, tournament insights, and a lot of heart to every coaching session.
