About this collection
Whether I am working on a digital sketch or a framed painting, I always focus on the small details that make a person unique—like their favourite hobby, their style, or an inside joke. My goal is to capture the personality behind the face, not just the expression, ensuring that the final artwork feels personal and real.
I have been drawing professionally since 1995, starting with editorial cartoons for Hindustan. Over the years, my work has evolved from simple black and white line art to vibrant, hand-painted portraits. This portfolio reflects that journey. You will see everything here: corporate sketches meant for office farewells, detailed caricatures for birthday gifts, and tribute portraits for public figures.
I offer three main ways to bring your ideas to life. If you want something quick and high-res for social media or printing, my digital sketches are a great fit. If you prefer a physical gift that feels substantial, I create framed artwork in A3 size, which is perfect for complex scenarios like depicting someone with their favourite car or hobby. For something truly artistic, I also do hand-painted mixed-media illustrations using acrylics or watercolors on premium ivory sheets.
No matter which format you choose, I believe in keeping the process simple. I share the rough pencil sketch with you first so we can make edits, ensuring that the final piece is exactly what you imagined. Whether you are looking for a funny cartoon to lighten the mood or a thoughtful portrait to cherish, let’s talk about your idea and bring it to life.
SKD
I am SKD. I started this journey by repairing torn pages in my village, and that same 'keeda' for art drives me even today. I do not believe in fancy setups; I believe in honest, hand-drawn work that brings a genuine smile to your face.
