We move away from the cold, clinical aesthetic of modern hospitals. Our approach focuses on psychological comfort, natural light, and design that encourages well-being.

The outpatient waiting area at JSW Sanjeevani Hospital is an open, naturally ventilated veranda. This design moves away from enclosed, air-conditioned rooms, creating a more comfortable and less stressful environment for patients waiting for their appointments.

About Healing Spaces: Healthcare Architecture

We believe a hospital should be a place of calm, not anxiety. At the JSW Sanjeevani Hospital, we replaced standard air-conditioned waiting rooms with an open, naturally ventilated veranda. By incorporating wide corridors with built-in seating and murals of local Gond art, we created an environment that feels less like an institution and more like a welcoming community space.
