Yoga is not just movement; it is a path to reclaiming your physical and mental freedom. Here, my students share their experiences of healing from chronic pain and injuries through guided, therapeutic practice.

It is a great honor to guide students back to their practice after injury. Listen to Nisha's story of her post-accident recovery and how our therapeutic yoga sessions gave her the strength to start all over again, embodying my principle: 'Make your weakness your strength'.

About Healing Journeys: Testimonials

Consider Nisha's story, which highlights the difference between standard exercise and true therapy. After an accident left her immobile for two years and others turned her away, we didn't just start with generic poses. We identified the root cause of her restriction and used specific props and gentle traction to rebuild her strength safely. She was moving with confidence in just two weeks because we addressed her body's specific limitations, not just its general capabilities.

Healing from chronic conditions requires looking beyond the symptoms. Whether you are dealing with a slip disc, frozen shoulder, or the lingering effects of an injury, your body often holds onto trauma that standard fitness routines cannot touch. My approach to Yog Chikitsa (Yoga Therapy) is rooted in understanding the bimari ki jadd (root cause of disease).

When you come to me, we begin with an assessment. We look at your body’s alignment and may use Nadi Parikshan (pulse diagnosis) to understand your constitution. We then integrate tools like the yoga wheel, ropes for traction, and therapeutic props to create space in your joints and spine.

This is not a one-size-fits-all practice. For some, the path involves Shatkarma (cleansing) to detoxify the body, while for others, it is about adjusting their Aahar-Vihar (diet and lifestyle) and dinacharya (daily routine). We combine these ancient sciences—Ayurveda, Naturopathy, and Yoga—to support the body's natural intelligence.

Many who join my sessions have tried everything else. They have been told they must live with their pain. I am here to tell you that with patience, discipline, and the right guidance, the body can often heal itself. You do not need to be flexible to start; you only need the willingness to embark on your own healing journey.
