About this collection
We believe every square foot should earn its keep. In our 'Palaash' project, we built a Murphy bed into the cabinetry so the room functions as a home office by day and a guest bedroom by night. We prioritize clever transformations, such as turning laundry utility areas into sunlit studies or carving storage out of dead space under stairs, to ensure your home adapts to your lifestyle.
At Simplécede, our approach to multi-functional design starts with a simple question: what does this room need to do for you? Too often, rooms are defined by a single purpose, leaving space wasted for the majority of the day. We challenge that limitation by rethinking layouts to serve multiple needs.
Take our 'A Walk in the Clouds' project. We took a small, enclosed laundry room and merged it with an adjacent balcony, creating a spacious home office that floods with natural light. By replacing solid walls with sliding glass doors, we did not just add a desk; we added a direct connection to the outdoors.
For 'Vasudhalayah', we treated the home office as a gallery space. The deep emerald green cabinetry and floating shelves turn a work-from-home setup into a place that feels inspiring, not just utilitarian. We use custom joinery—teak wood, rattan inserts, and PU finishes—to ensure that even a workspace looks and feels like a comfortable part of your living room.

We do not believe in modular, off-the-shelf fixes that leave gaps.
