Small footprint, big impact. We transform wasted corners and awkward layouts into highly functional home offices, media rooms, and utility spaces that truly serve your daily life.

Before: This room in the Breeze Home was an empty shell, a blank canvas waiting to be transformed into a hard-working, multi-use space.

After: The completed media room and home office. I designed this room to be multifunctional, with a sectional sofa that opens into a bed for guests, surrounded by hidden cabinetry for storage. The built-in desk creates a functional home office space.

This peek into the media room shows the warm and cozy ambiance I created. The wood-paneled accent wall, soft backlighting, and comfortable sofa make it the perfect setup for family movie time or even a quiet meditation session.

This moody blue home office was carved out of a small, doorless space. I added see-through glass and metal doors for privacy without making the room feel smaller. The L-shaped desk and oversized art create a cool, functional backdrop for video calls.

I love finding clever ways to incorporate a workspace. In the Breeze Home master bedroom, I tucked this home office setup into a small nook. The floating desk was created by repurposing our client's old table, and the wood-paneled wall adds warmth and texture.

A close-up of the home office nook, showing how I used a simple palette of white, wood, and blue to tie the space together with the rest of the bedroom. The client's personal art makes the space feel unique.

Detail of the floating desk. By removing the legs from an existing table and mounting it to the wall, we created a seamless and space-saving solution that feels completely custom.

For the kids' room in the JWD Marq Home, I created this clean and minimal study area. The natural wood desk and rattan-back chair add charm and character, while the colorful rug and art keep the space feeling youthful and fun.

I believe even utilitarian spaces deserve to be beautiful. I did a full gut remodel of a small bathroom to create this super functional laundry room, with a stacked washer and dryer and a ventilated broom closet.

The adjoining maid's room was converted into a linen closet and laundry folding area. I included floor-to-ceiling cabinetry, a countertop for folding, and open shelves to add character and hold supplies.

About Smart Work & Multi-functional Rooms

We believe you do not need a massive floor plan to get a dedicated workspace or a calm media corner. A common detail we often incorporate in these projects is repurposing your existing furniture—like taking an old table, removing the legs, and mounting it as a custom floating desk to save square footage while keeping a piece with sentimental value intact.
