Cake Smash and Splash Photography Sessions

The cake smash is just the beginning of the fun. I always plan a post-smash splash session—milk, fruit, or bubbles—because it is the best way to clean up the frosting while capturing some of the sweetest, most relaxed portraits of the day.

How Our Session Works

I want these photos to feel like home. We usually start with clean portraits of your little one, then move to the main event: the cake smash. Whether you want a simple, clean look or a themed setup with balloons and props, I handle the styling so you can focus on the fun.

After the cake mess, we switch gears to the splash session. This is where the magic happens. We can do:

• Milk Bath: Soft, dreamy, and filled with rose petals or colorful flowers.
• Fruit Bath: Fresh citrus slices for a vibrant, pop-of-color look.
• Bubble Bath: Classic, playful, and perfect for getting those tiny giggles.

Practical Details

• Duration: These sessions run for 60 to 90 minutes. I find this is the perfect amount of time to let your baby settle in without getting overtired.
• The Cake: I provide the smash area and setup, but I ask parents to bring the cake. This ensures we avoid any allergy issues and use the exact treat your baby loves.
• Location: We can shoot at my home studio in Kithiganur, Bengaluru. It is a controlled, sanitized environment, which is vital for a 6-12 month old’s comfort.
