About this collection
I plan your cake smash in three distinct stages: we start with clean, formal portraits to capture your child’s outfit, move to the messy cake smash, and finish with a relaxing bubble bath. Since every child has different taste and potential allergies, I ask parents to bring the cake, while I handle all the backdrops, props, and post-session cleanup so you can just enjoy the moment.

Turning one is a whirlwind, and my goal is to make sure you have tangible memories of this chapter. These sessions are about more than just a photo; they are an experience. My studio at Guttahalli is fully equipped to handle the mess and the energy that comes with a first birthday.
The Three-Part Flow
Every session follows a rhythm that keeps your child comfortable:
- Formal Portraits: We start with clean shots. This is the time to capture those crisp outfits and curious expressions before any frosting gets involved.
- The Smash: This is the main event. Your baby gets to dive into their cake, and I am right there to catch every funny face, frosting-covered hand, and giggle.
- Bubble Bath: We wrap up with a warm, soapy bath. It is the perfect way to clean up and gives us adorable, playful images of your baby splashing around.
Themes and Safety
I offer a range of setups, from 'Baby Potter' to 'Infant Spa' and outdoor-inspired looks. Because I am a certified newborn safety photographer, my studio is sanitized, temperature-controlled, and designed for your child's well-being. Whether you want a minimalist aesthetic or a colorful, theme-heavy setup, we will create something that feels like your family.
I recommend booking your session at least three weeks before the actual birthday to ensure we have time to plan the props and palette. These sessions are perfect for first birthdays, but I also photograph second and third-birthday milestones if you want to keep the tradition alive.
