A cake smash session is a three-part experience designed to let your child lead the way. We start with formal pre-smash portraits, move into the messy fun of the cake smash itself, and finish with a splash bath to clean up, so you do not have to worry about the aftermath.
When you book a cake smash or birthday session, you are not just getting photos; you are getting a stress-free environment where your child can just be themselves. My studio in Jayanagar is fully equipped with everything needed to make this happen, including custom balloon arches, backdrops, and props that match your chosen theme, whether it is a Jungle Safari, Boss Baby, or something traditional.
The Three-Part Session Flow
- Pre-Smash Portraits: We begin by taking clean, formal portraits of your child while they are still fresh and happy. This gives you high-quality photos for birthday invites or keepsakes.
- The Cake Smash: This is where the fun happens. We provide a photo-friendly, eggless smash cake that matches the theme. If your child is shy, I have plenty of experience being patient and waiting for them to open up.
- Splash Bath: Kids get messy, and that is exactly the point. After the cake, we transition into a warm splash bath setup. It is a great way to clean up while capturing those spontaneous, bubbly smiles.
Why Book With Me
After 20 years and photographing over 9500 kids, I know that kids run the show. There is no rush here. If a toddler needs a break or a baby needs to nap, we wait. My goal is to ensure you walk away with 20 to 25 professionally retouched images and an HD video teaser that you will actually want to print and put on your wall. All outfits are provided, and the studio is fully sanitized between shoots.
