About Double the Joy: Twin Shoots
Twins don't follow a schedule, and that is okay. I build extra time into every twin session for feeding, burping, and soothing. We won't rush the posing because my priority is keeping both babies calm, safe, and happy in their coordinated swaddles.
Photographing twins is a unique challenge that requires more than just a good camera. It needs a calm, temperature-controlled environment and a deep understanding of newborn physiology. As a certified newborn safety handler, I treat every session as a priority for your baby's comfort. I allocate up to four hours for twin shoots because I know that two babies have different hunger cues and sleep cycles. We work at their pace, not the clock's.
My approach is strictly minimal. I avoid bright, distracting props that might overwhelm the frame. Instead, I use soft, textured wraps, hand-knitted bonnets, and gentle posing aids like bunk bed props or heart-shaped bowls to show off the bond they share. Whether they are sleeping side-by-side or snuggled together, the focus remains entirely on their features.
I often find that parents feel a bit anxious about how the shoot will go, but my studio in Kithiganur is set up to be a safe, quiet space for exactly these moments.
