Featured Fashion and Commercial Photography Portfolio
A curated selection of my work across fashion, beauty, and jewellery. This is where light meets intent—no shortcuts, just the final, polished result.
This is what I mean by real. A close-up beauty portrait where the lighting is everything. Notice the detail in the skin texture and the sharp catchlight in the eyes. This is the result of a commercial lighting setup that feels editorial, capturing an authentic and intense expression.
Here’s a look at how I turn simple props into something conceptual. We played with glass and water to create these distorted, fragmented portraits. It’s about improvising on set to find a unique visual that goes beyond a standard headshot.
Landing a cover feature for Hunter Magazine is a testament to the collaborative energy on set. This shot captures a sense of borrowed authority and silent power, achieved through precise lighting and directing the model to convey a story with just a look.
This is where light becomes paint. Using a bit of smoke and carefully sculpted lighting, we created this moody, atmospheric portrait. It’s about exploring the duality of softness and stillness, giving the image a timeless, renaissance feel.
A look from a recent jewellery campaign where the goal was to make the pieces pop. The lighting is designed to highlight the cut of every stone and the intricate details of the design, creating a look of pure luxury against the model's skin.
Step onto my set. This video shows you exactly how I direct, using short commands to guide the model. "Chin down... bhai, eyes pe dhyaan." It’s a fast-paced, collaborative process where we tweak every detail until we nail the shot.
Black and white strips everything back to pure form and emotion. In this shot for Darkly Magazine, the lighting sculpts the body, creating a living statue. It’s a poetic interplay of shadow and form, capturing a moment between tension and release.
This is a beauty shot focused on color and texture. The vibrant blue eyeshadow is the hero, and the lighting is crafted to make it stand out while keeping the skin looking flawless and real. It shows how I approach retouching, balancing artistic color grading with natural results.
About Featured
A lot of people ask about my process—how we get that specific catchlight or why the skin looks so real in my frames. It isn’t just about the gear. Whether we’re shooting a jewellery campaign or a high-fashion editorial, I’m personally involved in every step: from the lighting setup to the final, high-end color grading. I don’t deliver RAW files because I don’t consider a photo ‘done’ until the retouching is finished. What you see here is the final art, designed to stand out in a crowded market.
My Approach: The Art of Light
I don’t just take photos. I sculpt with light. For me, photography isn't about clicking a button; it’s about controlling the environment. When I shoot in my Mumbai studio or on location, I’m obsessively checking tethered monitors, adjusting the optical snoots, and tweaking gels until the shadow falls exactly where it needs to.
My work with cosmetics and jewellery brands taught me the value of precision. High-CRI lighting is a must, ensuring color accuracy for product shades and natural skin textures. If you’re looking for a portfolio or campaign that screams quality rather than just 'content,' we are on the same page.
Why My Shoots Feel Different
- Intensive Directing: I don’t sit behind the lens waiting for magic to happen. I guide every angle, every eye engagement, and every shift in posture. When I say "chin down," I mean it. I’m looking for that specific intensity.
- No Shortcuts: You won’t get a bunch of RAW files to sort through. I handle the editing myself. That means frequency separation, local dodge and burn, and custom color grading to match the editorial look you’re after.
- The Team: I collaborate with top-tier MUAs and hair stylists because the final frame is only as good as the preparation.
Whether it’s a standard casting portfolio or a full-day commercial campaign, my goal is to give you images that work for you—not just social media fillers, but material for your book, brand, or magazine submission. If you're ready to put in the work, reach out.
