About Featured
For every shoot in this portfolio, I operate with a tethered setup. Whether we are in the studio or on location, I connect my camera directly to an iPad or laptop for real-time monitoring. This allows the client, the creative director, and the styling team to review shots instantly, ensuring we nail the lighting, garment details, and poses before moving on to the next look.
My Approach to Photography
I view photography as a collaborative process. Whether I am shooting for a magazine cover or a high-volume product lookbook, the final image depends on the energy of the entire crew—stylists, makeup artists, production houses, and the talent in front of the lens. My role is to lead that team to ensure the creative vision translates into a technically perfect image.
The Workflow
- Pre-Production: I engage in mood boarding and location scouting to define the aesthetic before we hit the set. For commercial brands, this includes aligning with brand pantones and usage requirements.
- Execution: I utilize a mix of high-speed sync strobes for studio campaigns and natural light manipulation for environmental storytelling.
- Post-Production: My delivery includes standard color correction and cropping for catalogs, or high-end retouching for editorial features, ensuring skin texture preservation and consistent color grading.
Where I Shoot
I split my time between Mumbai and Jaipur but frequently travel across India for projects.
- Studio: I work in controlled environments for detailed catalog and designer lookbook shoots.
- Location: I actively use urban and natural environments to add depth and mood to editorial spreads.
Every project is a partnership. My goal is to deliver visuals that function as effective marketing assets for brands or authentic portfolio pieces for talent.
