Commercial Campaigns: Beauty and Jewellery Photography
I specialize in clean, high-impact imagery where skin texture matters and product details pop. Whether it is a beauty campaign or a high-end jewellery launch, my focus is always on precise lighting and raw authenticity.
A classic cosmetics beauty shot. The focus is on the glossy lip product being applied, with the lighting perfectly capturing the texture and color while keeping the model's eyes bright and engaging.
A powerful portrait for a jewellery campaign. The lighting is modeled after old paintings to create a dramatic, timeless feel that highlights the exquisite detail of the traditional gold necklace.
A bridal jewellery campaign shot featuring a couple. The lighting is balanced to flatter both subjects while ensuring the intricate gold and pearl jewellery remains the clear focus.
A creative jewellery shot using water for reflections. This image for a men's turban and jewellery line uses dramatic lighting to create a moody and luxurious feel.
A regal portrait showcasing a stunning multi-layered emerald necklace. The low-key lighting and dark attire make the green stones appear exceptionally vibrant.
A beauty shot focused on hair and makeup. The sculpted hairstyle and sharp cat-eye makeup are the heroes, captured with clean, bright studio lighting.
A profile view from a beauty editorial, showcasing the intricate retro hairstyle and the application of makeup with a brush.
A provocative beauty shot for a lip product. The dripping lip gloss creates a dynamic and edgy visual, while the lighting remains clean and focused on the face.
A close-up detail shot of the sculpted hair and makeup, demonstrating precision in both the styling and the photography.
A commercial beauty headshot perfect for a hair care brand. The lighting is soft and even, emphasizing the healthy shine and smooth texture of the hair.
About Commercial Campaigns: Beauty & Jewellery
When we shoot, I do not just point and click. I prioritize real-time tethering on a monitor, which means we review the macro details of the jewellery or the skin texture exactly as they will look in your final campaign. This gives us the space to tweak the lighting or styling on the spot before we move to the next frame.
My commercial work is built on one simple rule: the lighting has to do the heavy lifting. Whether I am using a high-CRI setup to ensure 100% color accuracy for a lipstick shade or using prisms and optical snoots for that avant-garde jewellery look, my goal is always to reduce the need for heavy post-production. I use Sony Alpha 1 sensors to capture sharp, print-ready details that do not fall apart when you crop in on a diamond ring or a specific skin texture.
If you have worked with other photographers, you know that sometimes the focus on beauty ends up looking plastic or artificial. I do the opposite. I chase the pores, the real skin texture, and the catchlight in the eyes because that is what actually stops a scroller. I operate as a creative partner, not just a service provider. If you are a brand manager or a designer, bring your vision. We align the team, from MUAs to stylists, to ensure the campaign aesthetic matches your market goals. We do not guess; we execute.
