I turn legendary fine art masterpieces into wearable stories. From the swirling skies of Van Gogh to the golden patterns of Klimt, your sneakers become a one-of-a-kind canvas.

Vincent Van Dunks! A tiny homage to Van Gogh and his incredible life. I hand-painted his iconic "Starry Night" on this pair of Nike Dunks, trying to capture his unique impressionist strokes.

A full view of the "Starry Night" Dunks. The swirling blues and bright yellows of the original painting look so dynamic on the silhouette of a sneaker.

A detail shot of the heel, showing the glowing moons from "Starry Night." Even the back of the shoe is part of the canvas.

Vincent van Gogh-geous! A quick video showing the mesmerizing "Starry Night" painting on a pair of Nike Dunks. It's art you can walk in.

Weekend blues? Here's a look at the process of painting the "Vincent Van Dunks." It starts with a sketch and slowly comes to life with layers of colour.

A stop-motion video of me lacing up the finished "Starry Night" Dunks. This was a project I was obsessed with, and I'm so happy with how it turned out.

"The Kiss" by Gustav Klimt, recreated on a pair of Nike Air Force 1s. This was one of my most rewarding custom pairs, and the painting just keeps growing on me.

About Art History on Your Feet

Painting legendary masterpieces like Van Gogh's 'Starry Night' or Klimt's 'The Kiss' requires hours of layering and steady hand-work. I use professional Angelus leather paints and industrial-grade Liquid Kicks sealants to ensure your custom art is fully waterproof and scratch-proof, so you can wear these pieces just as hard as your regular daily beaters.

When you choose a fine art custom, you aren't just buying a pair of shoes. You are getting a piece of history that I have spent weeks researching, sketching, and painting.

Why Wearable Art?

I believe art belongs on the street, not just in museums. I started ShoesYourDaddy because I was tired of boring, mass-produced jootey (shoes). Whether it's a Van Gogh homage or a Klimt-inspired design, I treat every pair like a high-stakes canvas.

The Hectic Process

This isn't a factory-made product. It is just me, my brushes, and a lot of hustle in my Delhi studio.

  • Preparation: I start by sourcing a fresh, authentic base—usually a Nike Air Force 1 or a Nike Dunk.
  • The Painting: This involves multiple layers, fine-line detailing, and sometimes gold leaf application. It takes 3 to 5 weeks depending on the complexity of the art.
  • Protection: I apply heavy-duty clear coats so the rain or a stray scratch won't ruin the work.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can I actually wear them? Pakka (for sure). The paint is flexible and bonds to the leather, so it won't crack when you walk.
  • How do I maintain them? Keep them away from harsh chemicals. A damp cloth is enough to wipe away any dust.
  • Can I suggest a painting? Absolutely. If you have a specific artist or painting in mind, let's talk about how we can make it work on a sneaker silhouette.
