Specifications
- Canvas: Premium gallery-wrapped cotton canvas on wooden frame (approx. 36" x 48").
- Texture: Application of modeling paste or wall putty to create 3D relief designs (ridges, waves).
- Paint: Heavy-body acrylics hand-painted in abstract or geometric styles.
Finishing & Install
- Sealing: Double coat of non-yellowing varnish (Matte or Gloss) for dust/moisture protection.
- Edges: Gallery-wrap style painting on sides (no framing needed).
- Hardware: Heavy-duty D-rings and wire installed, ready to hang.
- Customization: Colors mixed to match specific room furniture or wall palettes.
Custom Electronics Painting (Service Only)
Process
- Prep: Deglazing of shell and precision masking of all knobs, ports, and grills to maintain functionality.
- Painting: Adhesion promoter followed by 3-4 layers of Angelus/Alpha 6 professional paints.
- Sealing: 2 coats of industrial-grade Liquid Kicks sealant (scratch and water-resistant).
Design & Logistics
- Consultation: One-on-one theme discussion with a digital or rough sketch mockup.
- Finish: Texture preservation of original leather/vinyl grain with UV protection to prevent fading.
- Return Shipping: Insured return shipping of the finished item within India.
- Note: Client provides the device and covers shipping cost to the studio.

Restoration Steps
- Prep: Deep cleaning and chemical removal of factory finish (deglazing).
- Base Work: Repairing minor scuffs and applying a base coat for color adhesion.
- Painting: 6-8 thin layers of specialized flexible leather paint that prevents cracking when the bag bends.
Detailing
- Scope: Full color change (solid block) or placement of custom motifs.
- Hardware: Masking of zippers, buckles, and logos to ensure no paint transfer to metal.
- Straps: Painting and sealing of handles and detachable straps to match.
- Protection: Double application of Liquid Kicks top coat for a permanent, factory-grade finish.

I started out painting boring old sneakers, but that itch to make things pop just wouldn't stay on jootey (shoes). Now, I see art everywhere. If you want your space - or your stuff - to stand out, this is for you.

I take my brushes to pretty much anything: your Bluetooth speaker, old phone case, random decor bits, or a blank canvas. Why settle for factory finish when you can have hand-painted electronics art that nobody else has?

My Story
Hi, I'm the oddball behind ShoesYourDaddy. Grew up in a desi (Indian) family of sandals and stilettos, but I rocked sneakers—boring ones, though! So, I quit my job and started painting my own kicks. Everyone was like, “Job chhod ke jootey paint karna hai?” (You wanna quit your job to paint shoes?). Self-taught, thanks to YouTube and copying art. Now, from doodling to TEDx stage—who knew?
My Work
Hand-Painted Sneaker Art - I turn sneakers into wearable art using permanent, waterproof paints. Each pair is custom and unique.
Custom Art Commissions - I paint on bluetooth speakers, canvases, or whatever you want. Kalamkari sneaker design and pop culture themes are my jam.
The Real Process - No shortcuts—lots of prep, layers, and sealing. Messy, hectic, but worth it for that one-of-a-kind piece.
