Custom Sneakers for Brand Events & Collabs
I’ve gone from painting in my room to collaborating with brands like Nike and Adidas. This is a look at my live customisation work and the projects that push me to paint bigger and faster.
Look what I just did! This was an insanely cool campaign I shot for Myntra and Nike Sportswear to celebrate 40 years of the Air Force 1. It was an overwhelming and thrilling experience.
A shot from the Nike and Myntra campaign. It was amazing to be on a professional set, surrounded by other creative people, all celebrating an iconic sneaker.
Here's a clip from the #FeelTheForce campaign I did with Nike and Myntra. The Air Force 1 is a staple in my wardrobe, so being part of its 40th anniversary celebration was a dream come true.
Delhi, time to step up your sneaker game! An announcement for a live customization event I did at the Adidas Originals store in DLF Promenade.
A throwback to my second popup with Adidas India, where I customized tons of sneakers live at the store. It's a thrilling challenge to paint so many pairs in a limited time.
A shot from the Adidas store in Delhi, showing a pair of Superstars I custom painted with a minimal leaf pattern during a live event.
Some of the custom pairs I painted on display at the Adidas live event, including these Stan Smiths with a Basquiat-inspired design on the heel.
These metallic, colour-shifting Adidas Superstars were another creation from my live customization event. They looked amazing sitting in the store window.
A pair of classic Stan Smiths with a custom gold drip effect on the heel, painted live at the Adidas store.
These Adidas Superstars feature a custom cow-print pattern with a pop of metallic blue. Just one of the many unique designs from the live event.
About Brand Collabs & Live Events
Live event customisation is a whole different beast compared to studio commissions. When I’m at a store pop-up, I have hours, not weeks, to finish. It’s fast-paced, high-pressure, and completely real. There are no filters, just me and my brushes, creating art while the crowd watches and interacts.
Collaborating with big names like Nike and Adidas has taught me a lot about balancing my own 'disruptive' style with a brand's vision. Whether I'm on a professional set for a 40th-anniversary campaign or setting up my station at an Adidas store, the goal is the same: to turn sneakers into art.
Live art is about the energy of the room. I’ve done everything from customising pairs for walk-ins at DLF Promenade to live-painting on t-shirts and shoes simultaneously. It’s tiring, sure, but seeing a sneakerhead’s face when they see their pair getting a fresh, hand-painted look in real-time? That’s what makes the hustle worth it.
If you are a brand looking for a live art activation, a limited-edition drop, or something that isn't just your standard logo merch, I am all for it. I bring my own gear, a lot of paint, and a zero-shortcuts approach to every project. Whether it’s an intimate store event in Delhi or a larger campaign, let’s talk about how we can make some cool art together.

I’m Sugandha, the oddball behind these collaborations. When I'm not stuck in my studio covered in paint, you'll find me at brand pop-ups or on-set, turning sneakers into conversation pieces right in front of your eyes. It’s messy, hectic, and absolutely the best way to share my art.
