Tired of mass-produced footwear? I turn your sneakers into chaotic, one-of-a-kind art pieces with custom splatters, drips, and bold, abstract flows.

A close-up of one of the nine pairs of custom "Samba Splatter" sneakers I made for a private client. Each one has a unique splatter pattern, making it a true one-of-one.

Here I am with the whole batch of nine "Samba Splatter" pairs. I painted these freely and joyfully, without worrying about filming, and the result was pure art.

A quick video showing the details of the Samba Splatter design. The colourful splatters on the black shoe create a dynamic and artistic look.

Holding up one of the finished Samba Splatter sneakers. The contrast between the clean Adidas stripes and the chaotic paint is what makes this design work so well.

Surrounded by art. This was a moment of pure joy after finishing the large order of nine custom splatter Sambas.

Clean drip AF1s! I love how neat yet funky these turned out. The design features a cartoonish drip effect in pastel colours over a classic white Air Force 1.

Another angle of the pastel drip sneakers. The black outlines make the colours pop and give it that cool, animated feel.

A top-down view of the drip customs. This is a fun, playful design that adds a splash of colour to your look.

A close-up on the dripping swoosh. The details in the shadows and highlights make the drip effect look more realistic and three-dimensional.

Dripping on a bunch of Nikes. Here are two pairs of the drip custom AF1s I made, showing how the design can be coordinated for couples or friends.

About Abstract, Drips & Splatters

Worried about the paint cracking or peeling off? Don't be. Every drip and splatter I paint is finished with multiple coats of industrial-grade Liquid Kicks sealant. This makes your shoes fully waterproof and scuff-resistant, so you can actually wear them out on the street instead of just keeping them on a shelf.

These abstract and drip designs are my way of embracing the chaos. Unlike prints that can look flat, hand-painted drips have depth. I build them up with outlines and shadows to give that pop-art effect. Whether it is a messy splatter pattern on black Sambas or a clean, cartoonish drip on an Air Force 1, the goal is to make the sneaker look like it walked straight out of a comic book or an art gallery.

The 'Hectic' Reality

People often ask if this is a quick spray job. It is not. It is layer after layer of prep, Angelus leather paint, and sealing. If you want a specific vibe, we work together to map out the colour palette. Because it is all manual, no two splatters are ever identical. That is the beauty of it—your pair will be the only one in the world with that specific distribution of colour.

Getting the Look Right

  • Depth and Detail: I use steady hand-work to add shadows behind the drips, making them look 3D and 'wet'.
  • Colour Theory: You pick the mood—pastels, high-contrast, or monochromatic splatters—and I handle the blending.
  • Base Selection: These styles work best on smooth leather surfaces like the Nike Air Force 1 or Adidas Samba, as the leather provides the perfect canvas for the acrylics to bond without cracking.

Whether you are looking for a bold, high-contrast look or something subtle and tonal, I can adapt the style to your kicks. Remember, there are no shortcuts to customising sneakers that actually last.

I am Sugandha, the oddball who decided that boring shoes just didn't cut it. I started painting my own kicks because I couldn't find anything that matched my vibe, and now I run a studio out of Delhi where I do exactly that for others. If you want footwear that breaks the mould, you are in the right place.
