About Abstract & Graphic Designs
Before any paint touches your sneaker, I strip the factory finish and prep the leather so the art does not crack or peel when you walk. Whether it is a MotoGP-inspired geometric design or a nebula pattern, every detail is sealed to withstand daily wear.
Why Your Customs Last
I do not just paint over the leather. The process starts with a professional deglazing to ensure the Angelus paints bond properly to the surface. For leather sneakers like Nikes or Adidas, I use a specific prep technique that allows the paint to flex with the material, preventing the ugly cracking you see on cheaper customs. Finally, everything is finished with a protective layer—matte, satin, or gloss—depending on the look you want.
Graphic vs. Abstract
While I love painting characters, graphic work gives me the freedom to get creative with space.
- Cosmic & Galaxy: Think deep purples, vibrant blues, and splattered nebulas. I often add subtle details like celestial coordinates or Saturn rings to make it yours.
- Geometric & Race-Inspired: Sharp lines, bold color blocking, and patterns inspired by everything from MotoGP liveries to spirit animals.
- Minimalist Branding: Sometimes, less is more. Clean monograms, custom logos, or simple text overlays on the heel tab can completely change the aesthetic of a stock sneaker.
