About Custom Sneaker Art
It is not just about slapping paint on shoes. I spend 15+ hours on a single pair, starting with a deep deglazing process to ensure the paint actually sticks to the leather or fabric. I use professional-grade Angelus and Alpha 6 paints, finishing with industrial-grade sealants so you can actually wear these sneakers outside without worrying about them cracking or fading.
When I say I turn shoes into wearable art, I mean it. I do not use stencils or shortcuts. Every piece is a freehand collaboration where you bring the idea, and I make it real. Whether you want bold street art, intricate Kalamkari designs, or pop culture motifs, I treat the surface as a blank canvas.
The 'Wearable' Guarantee
People always ask me if the art will peel off after a week. The answer is no. Because I strip the factory finish first and build up 3-4 layers of flexible, pigmented paint, the art moves with your foot. I seal every pair with Liquid Kicks, which makes them scratch and water-resistant. You can clean them with a damp cloth, and the design stays put.
The Process
- Consultation: We discuss your theme, and I provide a rough sketch or digital mockup so we are on the same page.
- Prep: I mask off the areas that do not get painted and deglaze the surface for maximum adhesion.
- Painting: I apply the design layer by layer.
- Sealing: The final protective coats ensure longevity.
I am a solo artist, so I only take on a limited number of commissions at any time to give every pair the attention it deserves. If you have a specific vision or a brand-new pair of kicks you are scared to ruin, send them my way. I will make sure they are the only pair like it on the street.
