Hand-Painted Electronics and Custom Decor
I transform everyday gadgets and home items into one-of-a-kind art pieces. From Bluetooth speakers to bespoke canvases, everything is painted by hand in my Delhi studio.
A full view of the custom-painted Marshall speaker. I covered the entire surface with a vibrant, freehand mashup of elements inspired by the artist Basquiat, turning a functional object into a statement art piece.
A detailed close-up of the hand-painted speaker, showing the intricate layers of color, text, and symbols around the brass control panel. Every inch of the surface tells part of the story.
This angle highlights the iconic skull motif from Basquiat's work, recreated by hand on the side of the Marshall speaker. The raw, expressive style is what makes this piece so powerful.
This process video shows a corporate commission for PokerBaazi. I transformed a standard speaker with a custom design featuring a grey camouflage pattern, sharp geometric shapes, and the company's logo, all painted by hand.
This video shows the steady hand required for my intricate line art style. Here, I'm meticulously painting a complex black-and-white geometric pattern onto a speaker, demonstrating that art is a skill honed through practice.
About Hand-Painted Electronics & Decor
Painting electronics isn't just about making them look cool; it's about precision. When I take on a commission for something like a Marshall speaker, I spend hours masking every single knob, port, and grill before my brush even touches the surface. I use adhesion promoters and professional-grade paints, finished with multiple layers of Liquid Kicks sealant, so the art stays put even with daily handling. You aren't just getting a design; you're getting a fully functional device that has been customized to handle real-world wear.
How We Make It Happen
Every project starts with a conversation. Whether you have a specific vision like a Basquiat mashup or just a vibe you want to capture, we start there.
The Process:
- Consultation: We discuss your device or decor piece. You share your ideas, and I create a rough sketch or digital mockup so we're on the same page before I start.
- Preparation: This is the most crucial step. I deglaze the surface to ensure the paint actually sticks and then use professional masking tape for every intricate part of your device to keep it factory-functional.
- Artistry: I use professional-grade Angelus or Alpha 6 paints. There are no stencils and no shortcuts. It is freehand, one-of-a-kind work.
- Protection: Once the paint dries, I apply industrial-grade sealants. This protects the art from moisture, fading, and scratches.
Can I paint that?
If it has a surface, I can probably paint it. My work ranges from Bluetooth speakers and phone cases to statement abstract canvases that I build using textured wall putty. I love taking objects people use daily and turning them into conversation starters.
Since this is a solo mission—just me and my brushes—I limit the number of commissions I take at any given time. This allows me to give every single project the 15-20 hours of detailing it usually requires. If you're looking for something unique that you won't see in any store, send me a message and let's figure out the design.
