About Behind the Scenes: The Making Of
My process isn't a solo act. When you book a full-day production, we are working with a dedicated squad—a senior makeup artist, hair stylist, and fashion stylist. We use tethered shooting, which means you see every high-resolution image on a laptop screen in real-time, allowing us to nail the framing and expression together before we move to the next look.
How We Build a Shoot
Photography is a team sport. Whether we are in a studio or on the streets, the final image is only as good as the prep work that happens behind the camera.
The Crew Dynamic When you see these photos, you are seeing the result of a tight-knit collaboration. On larger projects, I bring in my trusted network of MUAs, hair stylists, and fashion designers. This ensures the styling matches the lighting and the mood, so you do not have to worry about the logistics. We handle the creative, so you can focus on your performance.
Technical Precision For commercial and Netflix look-test projects, guesswork is not an option. Tethered shooting is a standard part of my workflow. This allows for instant feedback. We check focus, exposure, and posing on a laptop monitor right as we shoot. It saves time, ensures we get the exact character look required, and keeps the energy high.
Mumbai as the Backdrop My style is heavily influenced by the chaos of Mumbai. From gritty street corners to high-end studio setups, I adapt my lighting to fit the location. A shoot might involve a portable changing tent and battery-powered flashes in an alleyway, or a full production crew in a premium apartment. The goal is always the same: capture a story that feels authentic, whether it is for a fashion portfolio, a Netflix casting call, or a brand campaign.
