From fluffy squirrels to majestic tigers, learn to bring nature to life on paper. Join my studio sessions in Bangalore for fun, step-by-step sketching that turns even stick-figure beginners into confident artists.

An online session where we studied how to draw a tiger. This is the final pen sketch, focusing on the line work to create the texture of the fur and the tiger's intense gaze.

A young student's charcoal drawing of a bird perched on a stump. It's a great exercise in capturing natural textures like feathers and wood grain.

A beautiful white charcoal drawing of a ballerina. This technique is excellent for creating dramatic highlights and capturing the soft, flowing texture of the tutu against a dark background.

This still life drawing in charcoal shows a great understanding of light, shadow, and reflection on glass and metal surfaces. A fundamental skill for any aspiring artist.

A fun session of pen rendering, where this student created a dynamic sketch of lions and tigers. We focused on quick, expressive lines to capture the movement and power of these animals.

This intricate pen drawing of a rhinoceros is a fantastic example of using patterns and lines to create texture. It's a creative and relaxing way to approach drawing.

A lovely charcoal sketch of a squirrel, focusing on the fluffy texture of its tail. This is a great stress-free activity to relax and draw something cute from nature.

About this collection

In my sketching classes, we don't just copy pictures; we break down complex textures like fur, feathers, and wrinkles into simple, manageable lines. You will work with charcoal or pencil, starting with basic shapes, so you build real muscle memory rather than just relying on natural talent.

Whether you are a total beginner or an experienced hobbyist looking to refine your strokes, this is a space where we focus on technique, not perfection. When drawing animals, the magic is in the details—the intensity in a tiger's gaze, the softness of a bird’s feathers, or the rugged skin of a rhino.

My Approach to Sketching

In our sessions, I guide you through the process of observing light and shadow. We start with the basics—grip correction and stroke practice—before moving into specific mediums.

  • Charcoal & White Charcoal: This is my personal favorite for animals. It creates dramatic, high-contrast images that really pop off the paper.
  • Pen Rendering: We use expressive, quick lines to capture the movement and power of subjects like lions.
  • Graphite Pencil: Perfect for fine detail work, like the intricate patterns on a parrot's feathers.

Who This Is For

My studio in Sobha Silicon Oasis is a home for everyone. We keep batches small (4 to 8 students), which means I can give you personal attention, whether you are a kid just picking up a pencil or an adult looking for a relaxing escape from the daily grind.

Practical Details

  • Location: Offline classes at my home studio near Hosa Road, Electronic City, or online via video call.
  • Supplies: Please carry your own A3/A4 sketchbook, basic pencil set (HB to 6B), eraser, and sharpener.
  • Atmosphere: We keep things light. There is always a bit of laughter and 'masti' mixed in, because art should feel like a break, not a chore. If you have ever wanted to draw but felt intimidated by the blank page, come as you are.
