My Art Studio Life: Behind the Scenes & Student Creations
Welcome to my studio, a place where messy hands and happy hearts make art. Here is a look at what we create, the fun we have, and the projects my students bring to life.
A student proudly holding her finished drawing of a Japanese pagoda. It's wonderful to see their happiness after completing a detailed piece.
A corner of my studio, filled with various artworks from students and myself. This was just before an exhibition at Chitrakala Parishath.
A festive Christmas celebration scene, drawn in an artistic style by one of my students.
A glimpse into my morning batch, with students working on everything from abstract fluid art to traditional Tanjore paintings.
A collection of my work and student workshop pieces in the one-stroke painting style. This technique allows you to create beautiful, blended florals with a single brushstroke.
A little bit of fun and games in between our art sessions to keep the energy high.
A look back at my first summer camp in 2019. It's amazing to see how much my students and my gallery have grown since then.
I was honored to be invited as a judge for 'The Picasso in Me' art competition at Mega International School. It was amazing to see the creativity of all the little Picassos.
A soft pastel painting of Krishna, also known as Muralidhar. This piece is perfect for home decor and brings a sense of peace and music to any room.
A glimpse of the fun and focus during one of my art classes. Students are working on their pastel drawings.
About My Art & Studio Life
Whether you walk into my home studio in Sobha Silicon Oasis or join me online, the vibe is always the same: no judgment, just creative masti. I keep my batch sizes small (4 to 8 students) so I can actually guide you through your strokes, whether you are working on a Tanjore painting or just learning how to hold a charcoal pencil for the first time.
My studio isn't just a place to learn techniques; it is a space to unwind and disconnect from the daily grind. When I am not teaching, you will find me deep in my own work—be it a traditional Tanjore painting with gold foil or a quick charcoal sketch for a custom order. My students, from toddlers to adults, often tell me that stepping into the studio is their favorite way to de-stress.
What we cover
We explore a wide range of mediums. From the basics of sketching, shading, and color theory to specialized workshops like Tanjore art, clay modeling, and one-stroke painting, there is something for everyone. We do seasonal camps, birthday party workshops, and regular weekly classes.
Why join?
You do not need to be a pro. I believe anyone can learn to draw if they have the patience to practice. My role is to help you build confidence, not perfection. If you are looking for kids painting classes or want to explore your own artistic side, come join our little community. We focus on the process—the feeling of the brush on canvas, the mix of colors, and the satisfaction of finishing a piece with your own hands.
If you are in Bangalore, drop by the studio for a session, or let’s connect online from wherever you are. Come as you are, and let’s make some art together.
