About this collection
I focus heavily on cone control using paper practice sheets before we ever touch skin. This approach removes the fear of making mistakes, allowing you to perfect floral motifs and paisley shapes in a relaxed environment where art is about peace, not perfection.
My Approach to Henna Art
Learning Mehendi is really about gaining confidence with the cone. In my classes, we strip away the pressure. You do not need to be an artist to start. We begin by mastering the flow of henna, working on grip and pressure to get those fine, clean lines.
We cover the building blocks:
- Elements: Floral fillings, paisley (ambi) shapes, and geometric grids.
- Structure: Understanding how to balance designs on the palm, wrist, and fingers.
- Detailing: Adding the tiny finishing touches like shading and dots that make a design look professional.
Where and How We Learn
My studio in Sobha Silicon Oasis is a small, cozy space where we keep things low-stress. We work in small batches, which means I can actually stand next to you and help adjust how you hold the cone. If you are in the Electronic City area, you are welcome to drop by for a session. I also run online classes if you want to learn from your own space.
Whether you are practicing for a specific event like Karwa Chauth or just want to pick up a new skill, we go at your pace. You will find that after just a few sessions, drawing a peacock motif or a mandala pattern feels much more natural. Let us get our hands a little messy and create something beautiful together.
