Little Dragons: Building Future Champions
I teach kids the discipline of Shaolin martial arts. We focus on building fundamental strength, flexibility, and a champion mindset through consistent, daily practice.
A young student gears up for Sanda training, learning to wrap her hands before practicing on the punching bag and with a coach. This teaches discipline and the importance of preparation in combat sports.
We use simple tools like stools to perfect our kicking form and balance. This drill helps my young students develop height, control, and precision in their kicks, essential skills for Wushu.
This young student is practicing a form with the Pudao, a traditional Chinese halberd. We introduce weapons training only after a strong foundation is built, teaching respect for the weapon and advanced coordination.
"Do not hurry, burn slowly but daily." Two of my Little Dragons practicing their forms and kicks. Consistency is the key to progress in Shaolin Kung Fu.
The ultimate test of focus and power. A student at our black belt ceremony breaks a board under the watchful eye of his master. This demonstrates the practical power generated through proper technique.
Another angle of the board-breaking demonstration during our black belt ceremony. This is a significant milestone, proving a student's mastery over their mind and body.
From climbing walls at home to performing complex routines at international competitions. This video shows the journey of a child's natural energy being channeled into the disciplined art of Kung Fu.
A young student demonstrates dynamic movement during our 2nd black belt ceremony. His posture and energy show the confidence that martial arts training builds.
The grace and power of a running form, captured during our black belt ceremony. This showcases the athletic ability developed through consistent Wushu practice.
Flexibility is as important as strength. Two young students demonstrate the splits as part of their black belt test, showing their dedication to all aspects of conditioning.
About Little Dragons: Building Future Champions
I start every Little Dragon from scratch with a focus on fundamental stances like Ma Bu. We use foam training weapons and agility ladders to ensure safety while building the focus and coordination that define a true martial artist. Consistency is mandatory here.
The Little Dragons program is not about playtime. It is a systematic introduction to Shaolin Kung Fu designed to forge discipline and self-control. I break down complex movements into manageable drills, teaching kids that progress is earned, not given. We prioritize foundational skills like tumbling, animal walks, and intense stretching to develop the flexibility needed for high-level Wushu.
Beyond the physical, I emphasize the martial arts code of respect and perseverance. Whether your child joins for fitness or to work toward a black belt, they will learn to handle the sweat and the struggle. Classes run in small groups to ensure each student gets the correction they need to master their technique. My goal is to see them carry this grit into their everyday lives, long after they leave the dojo. This training is for those who are ready to change and put in the work.
