This video shows the start of a custom project. A client came in with a designer inspiration, and we began the process by selecting the right raw silk fabric to bring her quirky vision to life.
A glimpse into the intricate handwork process. This video shows my karigars sorting and stitching colorful beads and threads onto fabric, creating the unique motifs for a custom outfit.
The final touches are just as important. Here, we're steaming a vibrant lime-colored lehenga to ensure it's flawless and ready for the client to turn heads.

When you walk into our Malad studio, you are not just giving us measurements. You are handing us a concept. Whether it is a specific neckline from a mood board or a wild idea for a jumpsuit, we sit down with you to sketch, select fabrics, and decide on the details. We keep you in the loop through every step, from the first drape to the final fit, so you walk away wearing exactly what you imagined.
Transparency is our policy. You get to see the raw silk, the beadwork, and the embroidery threads before they ever touch your outfit.
1. The Concept
We start with your idea. You bring us a reference, a sketch, or even just a feeling. We discuss the practicality of the design, what works, and how to balance style with comfort.
2. Fabric and Detail
You pick the textures. Want raw silk for structure or chiffon for a flowy look? We guide you through fabric choices, embroidery motifs, and thread colors. If it involves heavy handwork, we show you the samples before starting the main piece.
3. Handcrafted by Our Team
This is where the magic happens. Our team handles the needlework, sorting beads, and stitching motifs. Nothing is mass-produced here. Every piece is handled with patience, ensuring the symmetry and quality match your expectations.
4. The Final Fit
No outfit is complete without the perfect fit. We do final adjustments, steam the piece, and ensure it is ready for your event. If you need it taken in or adjusted, we do it until it feels like it was made just for you.
