About Behind The Scenes: Your Dream Outfit in the Making
My custom-made process is strictly quality-first. I need a minimum of 30 to 40 days to stitch your bridal lehenga or engagement gown. I do not take last-minute orders because I will not compromise on the embroidery or fit, and achhe kaam mein time lagta hai (good work takes time).
From Inspo to Reality
Many of you come to my East Delhi studio asking for custom pieces, not just rentals. If you have a dream design, start by sending me a screenshot or a rough sketch. We will chat about fabrics, like micro velvet or raw silk, and the type of work you want—be it heavy zari, sequins, or mirror embroidery.
The Customization Process
Once we lock the design, I get into the nitty-gritty. This includes:
- Fit: Everything is custom-stitched with padded cups, piping, and the specific neckline you want.
- Volume: For that ballroom look, I include double-layer hard net (Can-Can) and heavy-duty canvas.
- Finishing: I make sure to include heavy matching latkans for the waist and blouse back.
Remote Orders
If you are not in Delhi—or even if you are in Australia or Canada—we make it work. I use video calls to help you take accurate measurements so your outfit is bilkul perfect when it reaches you.
Why the 30-Day Rule?
I am personally involved in every step, from selecting the fabric to the final check. This level of attention means I cannot rush the production. If you have a specific date, reach out as early as possible so we have enough time to perfect your look.
