Behind every stunning outfit is a story of creativity and collaboration. This is a glimpse into my studio, where I work closely with clients, selecting fabrics and perfecting designs to bring their dream outfits to life.

About Behind the Scenes: The EENA Experience

When you walk into my studio, we do not start with a catalog or a checklist. We start with a conversation. We will drape fabric swatches against your skin to test how they catch the light, discuss how your jewelry will sit against the neckline, and sketch out the exact embroidery density that feels right for you. It is a deliberate, hands-on process meant to ensure that by the time we cut the fabric, the design already feels like it belongs to you.

Bringing Your Vision to Life

Designing an outfit is rarely about just the final product. It is about the journey of finding the right silhouette that complements your personality and the event you are celebrating. Whether we are reviving a traditional Kanchipuram Langa Voni or constructing a modern, corseted gown, the process happens right here in my Bengaluru studio.

The Design Journey

  • Consultation & Fabric Selection: We begin by exploring textures. You will touch premium raw silks, velvets, and tissues to see how they drape. This is where we finalize the base color palettes and discuss the thematic elements of your embroidery, whether it is floral zardozi or geometric patterns.
  • Fit & Structure: I am obsessed with the fit. For our signature blouses, we use a custom 'Katori' or princess cut to ensure contour-hugging support. If we are designing a gown, we incorporate internal boning for that perfect, structured look.
  • The Art of Handwork: Once the fabric is cut, it goes to the frame. Our Aari and Zardozi work is done by hand, using high-grade materials like cut-dana, pearls, and semi-precious stones. This stage requires patience, as we layer the embroidery to create depth.

Why the Studio Matters

Visiting the studio allows for those crucial mid-process adjustments. Seeing a garment on a dress form is one thing, but seeing it on you during a trial is where we make the small tweaks—adjusting a neckline, tightening a waist, or adding latkans—that make the final outfit feel truly yours. My goal is to ensure that when you finally step into your outfit, you feel entirely like yourself, just amplified.
