Why I Teach Art

Art isn’t just about getting better with a pencil for me - it’s a way to chill out, express what’s inside, and sometimes just zone out from the day. I’ve been doing this for 22 years, and every learner brings something different to the table. My studio is in Koramangala, Bangalore, but you can also join online, wherever you are.

Who Shows Up Here

Honestly, there’s no one “type” - I see total newbies, busy parents, stressed-out working folks, and serious art students. If you want to figure out the basics or push yourself to do more realistic pencil sketching, you’ll find your spot.

What We Do

• Start with pencil basics and work up to advanced shading and blending
• Move into drawing realistic portraits (from photos or live models) with pencils, charcoal, or dry pastels
• Try out ink illustration classes and explore other mediums in our workshops
• I keep it hands-on, and you get personal attention no matter your pace

How Classes Work

• Regular batches if you want to build skills week by week
• Charcoal portrait workshops and focused sessions for deep-dives
• Flexible, pay-as-you-learn setup for busy lives
• Both weekday and weekend timings

Supplies & Stuff
