Junior Drawing & Coloring (Ages 5-10)

- Batch Size: Limited to 4 to 8 students for direct supervision.

- Ages 5 to 7: Pencil grip correction, basic shapes, and coloring within lines.
- Ages 8 to 10: Introduction to sketching, blending techniques, and light vs dark concepts.

- Paper: A4 cartridge drawing sheets.
- Tools: HB pencils, non dust erasers, and sharpeners.
- Media: Student grade Oil Pastels and Color Pencils.
- References: Laminated library images including cartoons, animals, and scenery.
Advanced Sketching & Realism (Teens & Adults)
Structure & Duration
- Frequency: Twice a week (8 classes per month).
- Duration: 90 minutes per session to allow for detailed work.
- Focus: Realism, anatomy, and grid method drawing.
Technical Syllabus
- Still Life: Rendering complex textures like glass, metal, and wood.
- Perspective: 1 point and 2 point perspective drawing for architectural depth.
- Portraiture: Study of facial anatomy and realistic shading.
Professional Tools Included
- Pencils: Full range of graded graphite (HB to 10B).
- Charcoal: Compressed sticks and charcoal pencils for high contrast.
- Accessories: Blending stumps (tortillons), kneadable erasers, and shading tissues.
- Paper: Textured sheets suitable for heavy graphite work.
4-Day Intensive Art Skills Workshop
Workshop Logistics
- Duration: 4 sessions total (flexible scheduling over consecutive days or weekends).
- Time: 2 hours per session (8 hours total instruction).
- Goal: Completion of one finished, frame ready artwork.

Why I Teach Drawing
Drawing is more than lines on paper - it's a way to chill, tell your own story, and see ideas come alive. At Art Voyage, I help you get started with the basics, and we build up from there, so you don’t feel lost. No stress about being perfect, just lots of exploring and sketching.
Who Joins Us
Kids as young as six, busy adults needing a break, and older folks chasing that childhood dream - everyone fits in here. I’ve seen complete beginners turn out awesome art in just a few weeks. Some come for creative sketchbook exercises, others just want to have fun.
What You’ll Learn
We start with pencils and charcoal - you’ll pick up pencil shading techniques, learn to add depth and make stuff pop. We draw everything from cupcakes to landscapes, even cartoon characters and Lord Ganesha. Color pencils come next, adding that splash to make your art look real - think kingfishers, donuts, whatever catches your eye.
How Classes Work
Join me at my cozy Kalena Agrahara studio or online from wherever you’re comfy. There are quick courses too if you’re short on time, like a 4-day basics class. I like mixing things up - sometimes you get half a picture and finish it your way. That’s when the magic happens.
