About Art Classes
Who I Teach
I welcome anyone who’s curious about art. Kids, seniors, first-timers, or those who want to get better - I’ve had students from 8 years old all the way up to 85. If you’re willing to try, that's all I ask.
What You’ll Learn
I cover a lot. The heart of my classes starts with drawing and sketching basics - pencil shading, charcoal work, detailed stuff like animals and the Hampi chariot. If you’re into colours, I teach watercolour painting lessons for landscapes, florals, and portraits. Oil and acrylic painting are also part of the mix, including knife painting and textured work.
For anyone who loves tradition, I teach Indian art styles like Tanjore, Kerala murals, Madhubani, Warli, and Mandala art. These are special - not everyone offers this depth.
How Classes Work
I keep things flexible. You can join online from anywhere, or come to my studio in Bangalore. Demo classes are there if you want to see how it feels. I also run portrait sketching workshops and focused sessions if you want to dive deep.
Real Talk
Some students pick things up faster, some take time - I’m okay with both. I celebrate wins, like when one of my students got a watercolour portrait chosen for a national contest. And if you need exam coaching for the Karnataka board, I’ll help you prep.
Art is for everyone. If you want to learn, you’ll fit right in.

Jeeva Kumari
My Story
Hi, I’m Jeeva. You know, art’s been my thing forever, but teaching it to folks - that’s something else. My students? From little ones to grandpas, everyone’s got a spot here. Seriously, Aryan’s charcoal drawing at 14 and Prafulla sir’s watercolour at 85 - both make me grin. My daughter’s an artist too, and her work even made it to the National Art Exhibition! Travel, workshops, meeting new artists, especially women - all that keeps me inspired and buzzing.
