Why I Love Portrait Mehendi
Daha varshapurvi, I started with simple patterns, but now, portrait mehendi has become my passion. There’s pure joy in turning your memories into something you can wear on your skin. For me, it’s not just about mehendi - it’s about capturing your story, your people, your special moments. Majhya kamat mala khup maza yeto, especially when the design means something to you.
What I Can Create for You
- Hand-drawn couple portraits in mehendi, using your photos. Dancing, wedding looks, or just happy faces - all possible.

My Process
- I always start with your ideas and reference photos.
- Details are everything: I focus on expressions, clothes, jewellery, so the portrait really looks like you.
- For really complex figures, I use a stencil just for the outline, but all the fine work is done by hand.
- I use shading techniques for a detailed 3D effect mehendi.
Sometimes, the process takes time and patience, but swatahcha asava - it should truly feel like it’s yours. The result? Mehendi that’s more than a design - it’s your story in art.

Hi, we’re Shades of Mehendi from Navi Mumbai. Ten years in, still loving every bit of this art. Mehendi isn’t just patterns for us, it’s a way to connect. Our students come from everywhere—Vashi, Roha, CST—and we end up more like friends than classmates. Classes get lively, sometimes we scold, but only to help you get better.
