This full bridal mehendi is one of my favorite projects. I created matching portraits of the bride and groom, ensuring their likeness was captured perfectly. The design is filled with details, including architectural domes and a beautiful tree of life, telling a complete story across both hands.

For festive occasions like Teej or Karwa Chauth, a mythological design is perfect. Here is a portrait of Shiva and Parvati, created with delicate lines and shading to capture their divine essence. I also included the couple's initials on the fingers for a personal touch.

One of my clients jokingly said she wanted to "have her husband in her grip," so I made it happen! This is a custom portrait I created for her based on a photo she sent. It's a great example of how we can incorporate humor and love into your design.

Beyond portraits, I have a passion for realistic floral henna. This design features a large, blooming peony with detailed petals and leaves, creating a bold and elegant statement piece that wraps around the arm.

This was a special one. I designed this mehendi for my own fiancé for our engagement. On one hand is a White Egret Orchid, and on the other is a geometric design with our initials, making it both personal and symbolic.

This design tells the story of Vat Purnima. On one hand, I created a portrait of a woman in traditional attire, and on the other, a figurative scene of her praying by a banyan tree, capturing the devotion of the festival.

How I Work

You send a photo or reference - the clearer, the better.
For tricky portraits, I sometimes do a light sketch (tracework) on the skin to get faces right.
I only use natural organic portrait mehendi, so no worries about chemicals.
I’m a bit obsessed with stain quality - I’ll guide you for best color and aftercare.

Hey, I’m Radhika, the one doodling at Caffeinated Henna. Mehendi started for me with my mom’s hands and a lot of childhood excitement. Somewhere along the way, work made things stiff – just lines, no soul. So I take breaks, do a design for myself, and remember that kid who loved messy hands. My dad still gets roped in as my test canvas! I love when clients challenge me, it keeps things real and fun.
