About My Mehendi Classes & Sketches
Before I pick up a cone to work on a bride, every design starts right here in my sketchbook. I share this same process with my students in class because we do not just learn patterns, we learn how to structure a story on skin. When you join my batch, you are not just copying designs, you are learning the specific 'finishing' that makes a piece stand out from the rest.
From Sketchbook to Skin
Every piece of bridal mehendi you see on my hands starts as a sketch. Whether it is a portrait, a dancing couple, or intricate cutwork, I believe in planning before applying. This practice ensures that the final design on your hand has perfect proportions and clean lines. I encourage my students to keep a sketchbook because it is where you find your own style, just like Maharaj taught us: even if the kingdom is small, it should be your own.
Professional Mehendi Classes in Navi Mumbai
I run my mehendi classes in Kamothe with a focus on 'mehanati' (hard work). This is not a hobby class; it is a 60-day professional training course designed to help you become a pro artist. We cover everything from the basics of cone holding and line work to advanced bridal portraiture and storytelling techniques.
My teaching style is direct. If you are struggling with your 'finishing' or if your figures lack life, I will push you to do it again until it is right. I hold regular exams and live demos because I want you to be confident when you finally work on a real bride. We cover the technical side too, such as skin preparation (waxing, scrubbing) and natural henna paste mixing.
