Teaching is my bhakti. My classes aren't just about drawing patterns; they are about finding your creative voice, building confidence, and becoming a professional artist.

A beautiful summary of a workshop, from students learning to draw and apply henna to the final day of certification. Seeing their progress and the joy on their faces is what makes teaching so fulfilling.

A happy group photo with my wonderful students from one of our workshops. The energy and camaraderie in this picture capture the supportive environment of our classes.

Another cherished group photo from our class. Each student brings their own unique passion, and it is a privilege to guide them on their artistic journey.

My students from Season 5 and 6 proudly displaying their certificates. This moment marks the successful completion of their training and the beginning of their professional careers.

I am so proud to see my students learning to make their own henna cones. This is a fundamental skill for any professional artist, and they have mastered it beautifully.

A glimpse into a basic mehendi class conducted with the Shree Nari Utkarsh Samiti. It shows me demonstrating techniques and the students attentively following along.

My students practicing their craft with intense focus. This is where the real learning happens, as they translate the techniques from the demonstration to their own hands.

About this collection

My classes follow a hands-on approach where we start directly on paper templates before moving to skin. I believe in learning by doing, so you will spend your sessions mastering cone pressure, line clarity, and motif composition through live demonstrations rather than theory-heavy lectures.

Teaching is my bhakti, and my classroom is where the magic happens. I do not believe in dry, lecture-based learning. Instead, I guide my students, my stars, through a process that bridges basic artistic talent with professional-grade skill.

Whether you are a total beginner picking up a cone for the first time or an aspiring artist looking to refine your bridal technique, my curriculum is built to grow with you. We focus heavily on cone control, which is essential for those crisp, clean lines. We move step-by-step through traditional Indian fillers, Arabic motifs, and complex human figures for bridal work.

Our classes, often conducted in collaboration with community centers like the Shree Nari Utkarsh Samiti in Dombivli, are more than just training. They are a space where we laugh, practice, and push each other to do better. You will learn how to mix organic henna, prepare your own needle-point cones, and handle the business side of photography for your portfolio. By the end of our time together, you will be ready to take on your own clients for weddings, engagements, and festivals. This is not just about drawing; it is about helping you find your independence as an artist.

I am Rita, and for me, teaching henna is my way of giving back. I guide my students not just to hold a cone, but to believe in their own art and build their own success stories.
