Forget air-conditioned gyms and fancy machines. If you want to build explosive power and real-world combat endurance, you have to earn it in the dirt.

Real strength is built in the dirt. A female fighter prepares the ground for training, a traditional 'desi' method that builds grit and functional strength. This is the foundation of our hardcore conditioning.

Teamwork in the grind. A male and female fighter work together, digging and turning the soil. This kind of labor builds mental toughness and a powerful physique for combat.

A young fighter performing squats with a makeshift barbell made of tires. We use whatever is available to build strength, focusing on the movement and intensity, not the equipment.

Squats with a tire-weighted bar. This is a core part of our strength program, developing powerful legs and a strong back, essential for any combat athlete.

A typical morning session. We start with running and then move to unconventional strength exercises like carrying tires and bodyweight drills to build all-around athletic ability.

Young fighters, both boys and girls, doing tire flips and wall sits. This kind of outdoor conditioning builds resilience and a strong base from a very early age.

A montage of our outdoor training, from warm-ups and tire-based weight training to core exercises. This is how we prepare our bodies for the demands of a real fight.

A look at our group conditioning sessions. We combine core workouts on the mats, agility drills with hurdles, and strength work with tires to create well-rounded athletes.

Explosive power drills. Our fighters doing sprints and agility work in an open ground, building the speed and stamina needed to outlast any opponent.

Highway training session. We use the open road for agility ladder drills, hurdle jumps, and sprints, pushing our fighters' conditioning to the absolute limit.

About The Grind: Desi Strength & Conditioning

Most people look for comfort when they train, but I do the opposite. Here, your conditioning happens on the open ground, flipping tractor tires and swinging sledgehammers until your lungs burn. We don't train for vanity or Instagram photos. We train because when you are in the middle of a fight, the only thing that saves you is the work you put in when nobody was watching.
