1-Month Beginner Certification Course (Weekend Batch)
Course Schedule
- Duration: 4 consecutive weekends (Saturday & Sunday).
- Sessions: 8 sessions total.
- Hours: 1.5 hours per session (12 hours total training).
- Format: Group coaching batches.
Equipment Provided
- Bow Type: Indian Round Bows (Traditional wooden/bamboo construction). Note: These are lighter and different from metallic Olympic Recurve bows.
- Arrows: Wooden arrows suitable for beginners.
- Safety Gear: Arm guards, finger tabs, and quivers provided for the duration of the session.
Curriculum
- Technique: Stance (The Archer's T), grip, nocking, and drawing to anchor point.
- Protocols: Range safety and whistle commands.
- Scoring: Learning the 5-zone target face system.
- Finale: Simulated tournament or balloon shooting competition in the final session.
Facility & Outcomes
- Venue: Veer Savarkar Rashtriya Smarak (Dadar West).
- Setting: Functional outdoor paved area and semi-indoor covered space (non-AC environment).
- Certification: Physical certificate awarded upon completion.
- Progression: Eligibility to join Advanced Regular Batches.
About Beginner Archery Course
Archery is more than hitting targets - it’s about sharpening focus and building patience. I’ve set up this beginner archery course for folks who’ve never tried the sport and want a simple, fun way to start. Whether you’re six or sixty, you’re welcome here.
Who Can Join
No experience? No stress. I teach archery lessons for beginners, so it’s open to kids, teens, and adults. You just need to be curious and ready to learn.
What We Cover
Across 8 sessions, I’ll walk you through:
- How to stand, hold, and shoot using Indian Round Bow basics
- Safety rules so everyone feels comfortable
- A taste of how a real tournament works
- Some balloon-bursting games for a bit of masti (fun)
How it Goes Down
- All equipment is sorted - bows, arrows, safety gear
- I handle the coaching and keep it practical, not textbook
- You’ll get a certificate of completion at the end
The Vibe
We end with a friendly team match. Pressure, cheers, and laughs guaranteed. Don’t sweat the misses. As I always say in our sessions, "ठीक है, एक और मारो" (Okay, shoot one more). It’s all about getting a little better every time.
