About Celebrating Every Milestone
Finishing our 8-session beginner course isn't just about getting a certificate. It is the moment you stop worrying about how the bow feels in your hand and start focusing entirely on your stance and technique. When you complete these sessions, you aren't just an amateur—you are ready to join our regular practice groups and keep refining your aim.
Our beginner archery course is designed to take you from never having held a bow to shooting with confidence. We focus on the fundamentals—stance, grip, and the 'Archer's T'—using Indian Round Bows, which are perfectly suited for building your core strength and coordination without the complexity of Olympic-style gear.
What You Will Learn
Over the course of 8 sessions, we cover the essentials of range safety, target scoring, and the 5-zone system. We do not rely on dry textbooks; instead, we emphasize hands-on practice. The sessions wrap up with a simulated tournament or a balloon-bursting challenge, where you get to test your focus under the same pressure you would feel in a real competition.
Why Certification Matters
Receiving your certificate at the end of the course serves as a formal milestone. It proves you have learned the safety protocols and the technical skills required to shoot independently. For many of our students at Veer Savarkar Rashtriya Smarak in Dadar, this is the first step toward joining our advanced practice batches or even competitive training.
Who This Is For
Whether you are a six-year-old wanting to try something new or an adult looking for a mindful weekend hobby, you fit right in. We provide all the necessary equipment, including arm guards, finger tabs, and quivers, so you do not need to purchase anything to start. Come by, learn the mechanics, and remember what we say in every batch: 'Thik hai, ek aur maro' (Okay, shoot one more). Each arrow is a chance to grow.
